SEN Teaching Assistant
Job description
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 11 to 14 within a welcoming and highly supportive secondary setting.
This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering consistent, rewarding work supporting young people with additional needs.
The Students You’ll Support
You will work closely with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs, including:

Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
-
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
-
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
-
Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)

What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

Minimum 6 months childcare experience, ideally supporting children with SEN
-
A calm, patient, and proactive approach

Confidence supporting learning, behaviour, and wellbeing
-
Availability for secondary work on a full-time basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
