The School:

The school accommodates 30 autistic pupils aged 16+. It has a large kitchen and open space. The Centre is near Uxbridge town centre.

Students and staff enjoy being part of the local community and students are supported in work opportunities with many local businesses and community groups including Uxbridge Library, RAGC, Rural Activity Garden Centre, Coach and Horse, Oxfam Uxbridge, Hillingdon Leisure Centre, Rickmansworth Golf Course and DASH Centres.

The Role:

  • Work 1:1 with 16 year old male student with autism and challenging behaviour.
  • Creating a nurturing learning environment and also tracking the pupils mental wellbeing
  • Liaising with both the parents of the pupil and the class teacher
