Teaching Personnel are working alongside a secondary SEMH school that is based in Brighton. The school are in need of a full-time support worker who can build relationships with their pupils as well as supporting them with their academic needs. The chosen support worker must be calm and able to use their initiative, you will be expected to support the pupils on both a 1:1 and small group basis as well as supporting all pupils on school trips.

About the role:

 The chosen support worker will be asked to work alongside the pupils within class and in-between classed. You will be monitoring their behaviour throughout the day as the pupils will have a range of behavioural needs including SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental, Health).

About the school:

The secondary provision cater for pupils who have previously come from mainstream education, due to their specific needs they require additional support within a specialist provision that can cater for their specific needs: Autism, ADHD, and Challenging Needs.
