That said, we are passionate about the value you can provide to our client schools and are determined to help you deliver this. We are also eager that you have an enjoyable and rewarding experience with us that sees you staying with Teaching Personnel for as long as your circumstances allow.

The benefits of being a supply teacher

A supply teaching job can be a great option for those seeking flexibility and who are focused on their work-life balance. You get to create a routine that works for you while also getting to do the work that you love. Choose the right supply teaching agency and you’ll receive as much or little work as you need.

How to get a supply teaching job

To become a supply teacher, typically you’ll need to hold a Qualified Teacher Status, for which you’ll need an undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification. Once we can confirm you have this along with a DBS certificate, next we’ll get on the phone to you to talk through the process of clearing you for work and to let you know about the job opportunities we have in your area, whether it’s day to day supply you’re looking for or long term cover.

Why choose Teaching Personnel?

  • Every supply teacher that registers to work with Teaching Personnel will be assigned a specialist consultant whose main goal is to support you and provide you the best experience
  • You get access to our online portal which keeps all your bookings in one place and allows you to stay on top of your work schedule
We provide free teacher training development with CPD Academy
  • We offer all our registered candidates free child protection and prevent duty training
  • As the UK’s leading education recruitment agency with over 80 branches, we’re confident we can find the supply teaching job that’s matched to your needs

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidates will be subject to satisfactory reference checks and an enhanced DBS check.
