Job Description:
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in Burnley primary schools? We are recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants to support schools with short-term and long-term cover needs, including:
- Staff sickness
- Staffing gaps
- Additional support for pupils with EHCPs
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a variety of school settings, supporting children in their learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support to teachers and pupils
- Work 1:1 or with small groups of children, including those with additional needs
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support children’s emotional and educational development
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in a professional setting (e.g. school, nursery, youth work)
OR - A relevant qualification in childcare, education, or support work
- A flexible and proactive approach to work
- Ability to travel to schools in the Burnley area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
