Supply Teaching Assistant

Are you keen to gain experience in an educational setting?

I am looking for Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis in various Special Educational Needs Schools across Manchester.

This role is flexible, allowing you to pick up days at your convenience, and is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in various Special Educational Needs Schools. Day to day supply cover often leads to long term roles as the schools have had a chance to see you work in the classroom. These will often be day to day assignments, and we would give you a call the day before, or the morning the cover is needed.

If you have experience working with children in a sporting, pastoral or educational capacity, or have experience supporting adults with additional needs I am keen to speak to you about supporting in our partner schools.

This role involves supporting pupils with additional needs including autism, profound and multiple learning difficulties and severe learning difficulties. This can be supporting with various activities under the guidance of the teacher, in small groups or on a 1:1 basis.

Requirements

• Experience working with children OR
• Experience working with adults with additional needs
• Calm and engaging support style
• Flexible and willing to embrace a challenge
