A school based in Streatham is looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant for a position starting as soon as possible, specifically supporting pupils to make progress in Maths, English or Science. Teaching Assistants play a key role in the continued development of students and are well respected throughout this school. Students are supported in each lesson and Teaching Assistants work closely with them to help developing their skills and improve their level of classwork.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate who is looking for a career as a teacher or in education and would like classroom experience. You will need to be able to support the classroom teacher throughout the school day as well as support pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis. You will have recently graduated from University, have a good degree or A Level in Maths, Science or English and be looking for your first step into teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
