Supply teaching assistant

Due to a change in their support department, our client school in Salford are looking for a temporary teaching assistant to join them from Easter to provide general classroom support to teaching staff; ensuring students are focussed on their studies during lesson.

• Easter 2019 start date, full time teaching assistant required
• Ongoing requirement, could result in long term position at school
• Join supportive secondary with focus on staff development
• Earn up to £325 per week whilst working through Teaching Personnel
• Ideally placed for non-drivers with a number of transport links to and from school

The school is a smaller than average sized secondary school, with less than 700 students currently enrol. The school meets the government's current floor standards, which set the minimum expectations for students' attainment and progress. The school has excellent public transport links with good locality to the guided busway, and can be accessed by those who drive by either the A580 or M602/M62.

Whilst working at our client school as a teaching assistant, you will be working in tandem with teaching staff to ensure students are focussed during their lessons and are engaged with the topic. You may also work with students in small groups, delivering pre-planned sessions on set topics. This post is ideal for anyone with previous experience working as a teaching assistant in a secondary environment.
