A well-regarded primary SEN school in Poole is seeking a part-time Supply Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team from September 2025.

The school provides specialist support to pupils aged 4 to 11 with a variety of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.

This role is ideal for someone looking to make a meaningful impact in a nurturing and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils with SEN on a one-to-one basis or in small groups

• Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and tailored learning activities

• Encouraging emotional, social, and academic development

• Promoting a calm and inclusive classroom environment

• Collaborating with teaching staff and external professionals

Person Specification:

• Experience working with children or in a care/education setting (desirable)

• Calm, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning

• Flexible and reliable, with a positive attitude

• DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
