The Southampton based secondary schools are looking for qualified and unqualified teachers who are happy to teach a range of subjects. No extensive specific subject knowledge is required however it would be advantageous if you was to have a specific subject specialism.

The successful candidates will be able to commute to the majority of Southampton Secondary schools whether that be via public transport or private travel.

As a Teaching Personnel Supply Teacher you will hold the following responsibilities:

• Delivering pre planned work to the class whilst covering a wide range of subjects, dependent on the needs of the school on the day.
• Ensuring the schools behaviour policy is adhered to through effective behaviour management techniques.
• Assisting the pupils with any work related questions they have as well as supporting with any additional needs, for example any SEN or behaviour related issues.
• Reporting back to the head of department of progress of pupils within the class.
