Supply Teachers - KS3 & KS4

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with several schools across East Cornwall to supply cover staff for day to day and long term teaching assignments, we are therefore recruiting for teachers to meet this high demand urgently!

We supply teachers to secondary schools to cover for short and long term absence, planned course cover and interim solutions for vacancies. Lots of our teachers have been fortunate enough to secure long term and contract roles with these schools for the rest of 2018; so we urgently require teachers for the new year and the high levels of cover we expect at this time of year.

Cover teachers are required to work in a flexible manner, sometimes at very short notice. You will deliver pre set work to a classroom of students in the absence of the permanent teacher, so there is no planning or assessment required! You will however, be expected to achieve the lesson objective, manage the behaviour of the students and keep them engaged and on task. You may be asked to cover outside your specialism, so a can do approach is essential.

Due to the nature of this work, the hours or days are flexible, you will be issued with an online diary, so you can choose each week which days you would like to work!

Pay is industry leading for cover work and paid weekly, we also support our teachers with ongoing training and access to exclusive roles and vacancies.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
