Supply Teachers

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a number of supply teachers to meet the demand of their client secondary schools in the Trafford area. The successful supply teachers can be of any specialism with a number of local schools looking for subject specialist teacher as well as those who can provide General Cover.

The schools we work with in the Trafford area require qualified teacher to cover on a day to day basis as well as for short - medium term assignments. This is often to cover any day to day absences, jury service, operational cover and CPD courses within school term time.

Key aspects of the supply role:

• Day to day pay £95 - £130 per day depending on school and subject specialism
• Options to teach subject specialism or offer general cover
• Fully flexible for part time, temporary and full time positions
• Day to day assignments, short - medium term of around 1 - 3 weeks and also longer term opportunities

The role of a supply teacher is to go to a school for the start of the day, teach and cover lessons as required and usually leave at the end of the school day. Planning and marking is not usually part of this role, although on the odd occasion where a school does request it, it is at the discretion of the supply teacher. This would be paid more in line with expectation and additional responsibility.

The successful supply teacher can be fully flexible depending on their own availability and what they are looking for. The supply teacher will be a fully qualified teacher and fully vetted through ourselves looking for flexible teaching with minimal paperwork.
