Our client secondary schools in the central Manchester and south Manchester areas are looking for supply teachers who can teach on a flexible basis as soon as possible for the duration of the summer term. This time of year finds secondary schools busy with planned and unplanned absences as well as various school trips and continuous development training courses which take full time, permanent teachers away from the classroom.

Any qualified teachers who are looking for flexible teaching on a day to day basis or for shorter periods of time, should apply now for immediate consideration. There is a range of day to day, part time, temporary and full time positions available starting in after the Easter break in a variety of subjects.

We work closely with schools in the areas of:

  • Levenshulme, Chorlton, Stretford, Trafford, Urmston, Longsight, Gorton, Altrincham, Sale, Tameside, Wythenshawe and Stockport

Highlights of the supply teaching roles:

  • Full flexibility over your own diary and availability
  • Pay ranging between £100 - £160 per day depending on the role and experience
  • Teach at a variety of secondary schools in the above areas as applicable
  • Access to a range of courses through Teaching Personnel
  • Planning and marking aren't typically associated with flexible supply teaching

If you are a qualified teacher at any stage in your career; whether that is NQT or UPS3, the supply roles we have could be suitable to your own personal circumstances. There are a variety of teaching roles as well as support positions available if this is more suitable to your situation.

The schools we work with often ask for general cover teachers but in line with their requirements, will also ask for subject specialists so if you are keen on teaching your subject specialism then make this known on your application.

A number of the schools we work with often ask for teachers in advance giving us notice on the teachers required as well as being busy each morning with day to day bookings. There are therefore many options for work to fit in with your own personal preference.
