Supply Teacher

Join a large secondary school in Wythenshawe seeking to appoint a Supply Teacher for regular flexible supply work. This position will commence immediately with full-time and part-time positions available. 

The successful supply teacher will be responsible for covering lessons across a variety of subjects and building and maintaining good working relationships with staff, pupils and wider community of the school.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold UK Qualities Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Have experience working within UK secondary schools.
  • Have up to date knowledge of relevant Key Stages and National Curriculum requirements.
  • Have strong behavioural/classroom management skills.
  • Be resilient and demonstrate ability to work in a variety of settings.
  • Be commitment to good teaching practice and quality supply teaching.

This lively secondary school is located in Wythenshawe South Manchester and has been recognised for its significant improvements. In a recent Ofsted report, the academy was judged to be ‘Good’ with a strong and determined leadership team. Due to recent investments, the school now has excellent state of the art facilities including modern well resourced classrooms.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
