Supply Teacher - Derby and Derbyshire
Join a number of vibrant secondary schools in Derby and Debryshire for regular flexible supply work from September 2020 (or earlier if schools re open).
The role:
This role is ideal for experienced teachers looking to reduce their timetable, Newly Qualified Teachers looking to gain more experience or retired teachers looking for flexible part-time work.
We are looking to introduce a new cohort of supply teachers to our client schools in Derby and Derbyshire following the reopening of schools in the UK (COVID-19 closures), Teaching Personnel are able to offer up to 5 days per week, working in schools located across the area. This includes all areas; Matlock, Ripley, Littleover, burton on Trent, Alvaston, Long Eaton.
Duties of the role will include covering in the short term absence of teachers over a variety of subjects and year groups. Planning and marking is not required for this role as all work will be set. Strong classroom management, flexibility and the ability to be proactive is essential for this role.
For Newly Qualified Teachers, this role is ideal for gaining experience in a variety of vibrant, successful secondary schools.
Highlights of this supply teacher position:
• Regular flexible supply work between 2 – 5 days per week from September
• Access to your own online availability diary to update accordingly.
• Earn GBP110 - GBP145 per day, dependent on teaching experience, pay scale and school contracts
• Introduction to a number of successful secondary schools in Derbyshire area accessible from the many surrounding areas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
