Supply Teacher

This vacancy has now expired.

Job description

Are you seeking teaching work within Brighton, Eastbourne, Lewes or surrounding areas?

We are the UKs leading education supply agency and we have an exceptionally busy Brighton based branch. We service schools across the whole of Sussex but we are becoming increasingly busy within the East Sussex area, meaning we are recruiting for supply teachers to join our team.

Perhaps you are a teacher who is returning to the classroom following some time out, or a teacher who is hoping to remain within education but take a step back from full time teaching? Even if you are a teacher who only wants a few days of work each week? If so, supply may suit you!

We can offer qualified teachers between 2 – 5 days per week within the local area, providing you are a driver with access to a vehicle and are able to arrive to schools by 8:15am in the morning. We can offer pre-booked work for those who need notice to arrange childcare or more flexible daily calls for those who can be up and ready to leave the house bright and early!

You will get the opportunity to form relationships with your most local schools, pick and choose where and when you work, specialise in certain age groups or try new keystages that you haven’t explored before, and most importantly be in control of your own diary and manage your workload to fit around your other commitments.

Many of our teachers have found supply teaching to be exceptionally rewarding, a massive confidence boost and have secured long-term and permanent roles off the back of short-term supply placements.

If you are considering supply and live within East Sussex, please feel free to contact Sarah at the Brighton Branch to have an informal discussion about how supply might suit you.
