Are you a teacher who is looking to take a step back and gain more of a work life balance?
Have you ever thought of pursuing life as a supply teacher?
As a supply teacher you would not be expected to undertake any planning or marking responsibilities and would only be expected to partake in standard school hours which are normally 08:30 until 15:00. No meetings or extra curricular activities which you need to undertake meaning more time at home with your family and friends!
We work with secondary schools across the Southampton area and there is a great demand for qualified teachers who are seeking a role as a supply teacher to fullfill unexpected gaps in timetables and to cover absent teachers.
The role will encompass teaching across a range of subjects and all the work is prepared for you so all you need to do is deliver and focusing on the teaching side of the role! Many teachers undertake Supply teaching to reconnect their passion with the profession and solely focus on making an impact towards the pupils via teaching!
To be successful you will need to fullfill the following requirements:
- Happy to work within a range of secondary schools across Southampton.
- Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification with a subject related degree.
- Have an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS which is registered on the DBS update service or be happy to obtain one.
We can offer a guaranteed to work scheme also where we will be able to provide you consistent employment as a supply teacher!
All applicants are considered, and interviews will be arranged accordingly.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
