Teaching Personnel work alongside a number of Schools across the Cardiff & The Vale of Glamorgan that are looking to give Newly Qualified Teachers the classroom experience they need to ensure they start their Teaching career with the skills and tools to succeed. The schools are also looking to create supply bubbles of experienced Teachers that are no stranger to Teaching multiple subjects as well as their own specialist subject..

Some of the highlights of being a Supply Teacher are:

* Introduction to a number of secondary schools

*Increase classroom management and behaviour management skills  

* No lesson planning or assessment will be required as work is pre-set by the department

* Flexible work to suit your diary, can be on a full or part time basis

*Monitoring by department leads to ensure progress is maintained

* Regular day to day and pre-booked cover to suit your working needs

The role of a supply teacher will include, delivering pre-planned work schemes where possible in cross-curricular settings. Behaviour and classroom management is paramount ensuring the schools behaviour policy is adhered to and enabling students are to be focused and engaged with work set. You do not have to be a specialist in the subjects covered but a good level of understanding is desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
