Supply Teacher

Teaching Personnel work closely with between 5 - 9 different secondary schools in the Altrincham area who have found that their requirements for supply teachers have significantly increased during the past 2 weeks. As a result, there is a need for supply teachers who are available to cover lessons and teach across the age and subject range. The role of a supply teacher is to deliver pre-planned work set by the school’s permanent teacher.

Supply teaching would suit:

Generally, planning and marking isn’t required as part of the role of a supply teacher allowing you to arrive at school for 8:30 – 9am and finish at the end of the school day (usually around 3pm). Working in close partnership with a national teaching school in Manchester, offers heavily subsidised professional development courses through Teaching Personnel’s CPD Academy. You will also benefit from access to an online portal where you can manage your own diary, availability and browse a number of upcoming relevant positions.
