Job description

Job Title: Supply Teacher

Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire, Wisbech

Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours

Salary: £100 - £130 Per day

Job Duties:

As a Supply Teacher, your primary responsibility will be to deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. You will need to follow the school's curriculum, provide effective classroom management, and ensure a positive learning environment for all students. Additionally, you may be required to participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school-related activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
  • Relevant teaching experience

Education:

A relevant Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Previous experience in teaching or working with students in an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective classroom management abilities
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Additional subject-specific qualifications

Working Conditions:

You will be working in a school environment, following the school's timetable and policies. This role may involve working with students of various age groups and abilities. The working hours are full-time, and you will be expected to be flexible in your approach to teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
