Salary: £550 - £700 Per week
Are you a passionate and dedicated educator looking for a flexible teaching opportunity? We are currently seeking a Supply Teacher to join our team in the Stockport area. As a Supply Teacher, you will have the freedom to choose the number of days you work each week, providing coverage for local schools as needed.
Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students from various grade levels
- Follow the curriculum guidelines and ensure all learning objectives are met
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Provide feedback and assess student progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and educational staff
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom
- Flexibility and adaptability
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required.
Experience:
Prior experience teaching in a classroom setting is preferred, but newly qualified teachers are also welcome to apply.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Effective communication and organisation skills
- Ability to build rapport with students and colleagues
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional subject-specific qualifications or training
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Knowledge of educational technology and its integration into teaching
- Experience in delivering differentiated instruction
Working Conditions:
This position is on a contract basis, with part-time hours. As a Supply Teacher, you will have the flexibility to choose the days you wish to work. The work will primarily take place in various schools within the Stockport area. You will be required to follow the school's policies and procedures and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
