Job description

SEN Supply Teacher – Flexible Work Across Somerset

 

Are you a passionate educator with experience in Special Educational Needs? We are seeking dedicated SEN Supply Teachers to work across a variety of schools in Somerset. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs while enjoying the flexibility of supply work.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Support pupils with a range of SEN including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD
  • Collaborate with support staff and SENCOs to ensure effective learning strategies
  • Maintain a positive and safe learning environment

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with SEN pupils in mainstream or specialist settings
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Enhanced Child Only DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
