SEND Supply Teachers – Short Term & Long Term Opportunities
Location: County Durham
Start Date: Immediate and Ongoing
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are currently recruiting SEND Supply Teachers for a range of short-term, long-term and potential permanent placements in specialist schools across County Durham.
Whether you’re seeking the variety of daily supply or the consistency of a longer-term role, we’ll work with you to find placements that match your experience, preferences, and availability.
As an SEND Supply Teacher, you will:

Deliver high-quality teaching and support to pupils with a range of special educational needs (e.g. Autism, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and PMLD).

Adapt lessons to meet individual learning styles and abilities.

Work closely with support staff and SENCOs to promote engagement and progress.

Create a safe, inclusive and inspiring classroom environment.
We’re looking for teachers who:

Hold QTS/QTLS (or equivalent overseas qualification).

Have experience working with pupils with additional needs.
-
Are flexible, reliable, and passionate about making a difference.

Are open to short-term or long-term placements depending on preference.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
