Teaching Personnel are actively looking for KS3 and KS4 supply teachers to work in reputable schools around the Bourne, Spalding and Market Deeping area.

As a Supply Teacher you will need good classroom management and experience working in secondary schools.

How does casual supply work?

Teaching Personnel work with a large number of schools within the area who often have day to day sicknesses that they require teachers to cover, with these bookings the work is pre planned and the cover can be across a variety of subjects. Calls from schools start coming in at around 7:00am, once we have established what the school will need we then call you and see if you are available to go. Once you've received the call you would be expected to be on your way as soon and as safely as possible taking your DBS and ID with you.

The school will explain what you will be doing once you get there in more detail.

What type of person will be successful?

We are looking for an ambitious teacher who is willing to uphold the schools values and desire to continually and successfully increase the reputation of the schools.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
  • Have at least 6 months school based experience of working in a UK Secondary School setting.
  • Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
  • Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.

In return Teaching Personnel can offer;

  • Excellent rates of pay £120 - £145
  • Direct links to local schools.
  • Dedicated Consultants who will cater for your employment needs.
  • Commitment to quality and safeguarding.
  • 24/7 support for interview and lesson observation preparation.
