Cover Supervisor – Secondary School – Swansea

Location: Swansea, South Wales
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Flexible Supply
Start Date: Immediate and Ongoing

Are you confident in the classroom and passionate about education? We’re seeking dynamic Cover Supervisors in Swansea to join local secondary schools and support students in their day-to-day learning. This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers, graduates, or experienced education professionals looking to make a difference in a flexible and rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher

  • Deliver pre-set work and ensure classroom discipline

  • Provide assistance to students and manage classroom behaviour

  • Report on student progress and incidents as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths

  • Experience working with young people (education, coaching, youth work)

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one

  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

  • Experience in a secondary school setting

  • Welsh language skills are an advantage but not essential
