Job description

Do you thrive in structured environments with high standards? This academically driven secondary school in Oldham is seeking a confident and professional Cover Supervisor to provide classroom support from September 2025.

You’ll be working in a school where learning is taken seriously, expectations are high, and students are motivated to succeed. The behaviour policy is robust and consistently applied, meaning you’ll be supported in delivering lessons and managing the classroom with confidence.

This role is particularly suitable for graduates or aspiring teachers looking to gain solid classroom experience in a high-performing environment.

Duties Will Include:

  • Delivering cover lessons in a range of subjects (materials provided)

  • Monitoring student engagement and supporting behaviour management

  • Feeding back on class progress to teaching staff

  • Supporting school routines such as duties and form time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
