Supply 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Sheffield (S4, S5, S6, S35)
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible
Contract Type: Supply / Temporary / Full-time or Part-time
Salary: £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
Are you a caring, patient and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for rewarding 1:1 support work in Sheffield? Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting 1:1 Teaching Assistants to work with pupils across the S4, S5, S6 and S35 areas, supporting children with additional learning needs in primary schools.
About the Role:
-
Provide 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or social and emotional needs

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
-
Support the child in accessing the curriculum and developing confidence and independence
-
Help manage behaviour positively and promote engagement in learning

Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage progress and wellbeing
About You:
-
Experience working with children in an educational setting (school, nursery, or alternative provision)

Ideally have experience supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis

A positive, patient and empathetic approach to supporting young learners
-
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
