Graduate Cover Supervisor

Are you a recent graduate eager to gain valuable classroom experience? We are recruiting Graduate Cover Supervisors to join secondary schools in Alton from November 2024. With schools in need of additional support, this role provides an excellent opportunity to step into the education sector and develop essential skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and deliver pre-prepared lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Ensure students remain engaged and actively participate in lessons
• Manage classroom behaviour and enforce school policies
• Support students of varying abilities, ensuring the smooth running of the class
• Develop leadership and classroom management skills, valuable for a career in education

Position Details:

• Full-time and part-time roles available, depending on your availability
• Ideal for graduates, unqualified teachers, and experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs)

What We Are Looking For:

• Graduates passionate about working with young people and making a positive impact in education
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• No prior teaching experience required—full training and support provided
