Role: Primary Teaching Assistant

Start Date: January 2024

Pay: £77 - 95 per day (paid on a weekly basis)

What does the job role involve?

• Working with the class teacher and supervise class activities
• Keep records up to date and ensure staff and parents are updated on pupils progression
• Ensure children are safe at all times
• Follow school polices and procedures
• Assist in interventions in phonics, reading, writing and maths
• One-to-one support

Essential requirements and qualifications:

High literacy skills and experience of supporting children’s learning

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

First degree in Essential & First Aid Qualification is desirable

Satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check

Overseas criminal clearance

Location of the school

The school is located a 10-minute drive from Harrow-on-the-Hill station (near central Harrow) or a 30-minute journey on public transport. The closest train stations are North Harrow and Rayners Lane.
