Cover Supervisor – Primary School (KS1)
Location: Bournemouth, BH6
Start Date: September 2026
Hours: Approximately 15–16 hours per week (2 full days and 3 afternoons)
Pay: £100-£110 per day
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming primary school in Bournemouth (BH6) from September.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator, teaching assistant looking to progress, or an individual considering a future career in teaching. The successful candidate will support pupils across Key Stage 1, ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons to KS1 pupils.
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Manage pupil behaviour in line with school policies.
- Support pupils to engage fully with learning activities.
- Complete marking and feedback where required.
- Liaise with teaching staff to ensure a smooth handover of lessons.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Be confident leading a classroom and managing behaviour effectively.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Be reliable, professional, and adaptable.
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate (or be willing to obtain one).
