Job Title: Sports Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Role Overview:

As a Sports HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality physical education and sports activities across the school. Working closely with the Physical Education department and classroom teachers, you will contribute to the overall development and well-being of our students.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and inclusive sports lessons.
• Lead and supervise sports activities during and after school hours.
• Provide additional support to students with varying abilities.
• Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Promote the importance of physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications in sports coaching or a related field.
• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Understanding of the national curriculum for physical education.
• An enhanced DBS check.
