Job Title: Sports Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: St Budeaux, Plymouth
Contract Type: Temporary, January to the end of the academic year

Role Overview:
As a Sports HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality physical education and sports activities across the school. Working closely with the Physical Education department and classroom teachers, you will contribute to the overall development and well-being of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and inclusive sports lessons.
- Lead and supervise sports activities during and after school hours.
- Provide additional support to students with varying abilities.
- Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Promote the importance of physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in sports coaching or a related field.
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Understanding of the national curriculum for physical education.
- An enhanced DBS check.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
