Sports Graduate Teaching Assistant - York
The Job Role
- Working with Primary and Secondary aged pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Using Sport as a way of engaging learners and building rapport
- Establishing trust and forming relationships with students, in order to help students academically and socially progress
- Supporting students who have been excluded from, or are unable to attend mainstream education
- Helping to re-integrate students back into full time education, or mainstream education
- Supporting additional needs including Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties, ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs and Challenging Behaviour
