Sports Graduate required in Blackpool

Are you a Sports Graduate or someone who regularly plays sport?

Do you have or are you seeking experience working in a secondary school?

I am working on behalf of a mainstream secondary school in the Fylde area (FY3 postcode) who regularly call upon Teaching Personnel for Sports Graduates who are keen to work in school and cover a range of lessons across the curriculum. The school are keen to secure Sports Graduates as they often have PE lessons on the time table which may need covering.

This is a larger than average school with over 1,000 students on roll. The incoming candidate should expect to cover a range of lessons throughout KS3/4 across the curriculum. Duties will include:

- Ensuring students are getting on with the work set by the class teacher

- Managing behaviour of the students in the classroom (maintaining low level disruption)

- Making sure the classroom is left tidy at the end of each lesson

You should be able to make it into school for 08:30am each morning, unless stated otherwise by someone in school. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are considering a future career in education or an experienced Cover Supervisor seeking additional work.
