Teaching Personnel is seeking a Sports Graduate TA in Bristol

 

. Teaching Personnel Bristol

. October start

. Secondary sector Bristol

. GBP270-GBP300 per day

.KS3 & KS4

. Full time- until the end of the academic year

If you are a graduate with a Sporting Degree, specialising in P.E or Science - this South Bristol based Sports Science Graduate role could have the ideal role for you! 

If you have a Science related degree and experience in Coaching or P.E or, alternatively, if you have a degree in Physical Education/Sports and a strong A-Level in Science then the school will consider having you as a candidate for the role. This role will benefit candidates who are seeking to gain classroom experience before undertaking a PGCE.

Sports Science Graduate Teaching Assistant – Role

.Coach students in a variety of sports during there PE lessons
.Run & deliver 1:1 / group intervention sessions on the side with students who are .Struggling with a particular sport (Skill based) 
.Display a passion for the practical and theory side of PE
.Differentiate according to individual student needs 
.Support students who have challenging behaviour and who are disengaged in the subject 
.Potential to support extra-curricular activities 

The role will also entail working with children within the classroom, Schools see Sports Graduates as candidates that can control pupil’s behaviours and build strong relationships in order for pupils to maintain good behaviour levels.
