Position: Sports Enrichment Officer
Location: NN2
Pay: £120 - £140pd - Dependent on experience

We’re looking for a dynamic and energetic Sports Enrichment Officer (SEO) to join a thriving academy to help deliver an exciting sports offering to students. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for coaching, sport development, and education to make a real impact on the students’ sporting experiences.
Key Responsibilities:

Build relationships with local clubs and partners to bring high-quality coaching to the academy

Organise and deliver a variety of school clubs and sports sessions, both in and out of curriculum time

Plan and support internal and external competitive sports events, including festivals and competitions

Identify and support talented athletes, helping them to excel in elite sports

Promote sporting opportunities through various media channels and engage students in extracurricular activities

Work closely with the Head of PE and Sports Enrichment team to deliver the Trust’s sports strategy
The Ideal Candidate:
You will need to be enthusiastic, inspiring, and outcome-driven, with a passion for sport. Ideally, you will have experience in coaching, sports development, or education, and you may be considering a career in teaching. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality programmes that engage students in sports.
Key Skills & Experience:

Organisational skills with the ability to manage your time effectively

A positive role model with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience working with children or young people is an advantage

Flexibility to work outside of regular school hours, including evenings and weekends

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
