Job description
Teaching Personnel work closely with a School based in the Leyland area, within Lancashire and caters for KS3/4 pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD and ODD. The School is smaller than average and caters for approximately 50 pupils currently, both male and female, across KS2 - 4.
The School is based on the outskirts of Leyland and has a number of pupils who are currently not in mainstream education and a number of pupils who are 'Looked After Children'. The School are looking for a candidate to work with pupils who have a range of additional needs and pupils who display challenging behaviours. Therefore, candidates must be resilient, empathetic and confident in their behaviour / classroom management skills. The candidate will also ideally hold their Team Teach qualification, but this is not essential.
The candidate must be willing to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils, have experience supporting pupils who have additional learning needs / special needs / challenging behaviours and candidates must be available full time, School hours are 8.40am - 3.30 pm Mon - Friday.

- Negotiable pay rates GBP57 - 67 per day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
