Sports Coach - Rochdale

Ofsted graded 'Good' school in Rochdale seek Sports Coach to join the PE department for a full time position until at least the end of this academic year.

We are seeking Sport Coaches to run extra curricular activities as well as support daily lesson plans at a number of schools in the Rochdale area. If you have previous experience as a Sports Coach or have worked in a similar capacity supporting young people aged 11-16 then we want to hear from you!

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a number of the schools in Rochdale and the surrounding area, assisting them to help encourage pupils to further engage with sport and physical education. You will be required to run extra curricular activities and after school clubs such as football, rugby and tennis clubs, as well as supporting the PE Teacher in lessons during the school day.

  • Flexible working hours allowing you to work around your current schedule
  • Earn up to £350 a week, dependent on experience and hours worked
  • Access to further training to continue your development and enhance your CV

Working as a Sports Coach through Teaching Personnel allows you to work on a flexible basis dependent on your schedule and the needs of the school with the opportunity to be placed on to a permanent full time contract with the school. This is a great opportunity for any recent sport graduates who are seeking further experience in a secondary school environment before considering enrolling on a PGCE or similar Teacher Training Course.
