Sports Coach required in Blackburn

Are you a Sports Coach seeking work in the Blackburn area?

If so, Teaching Personnel work closely with a Blackburn Behavioural Unit which caters for KS1-4 pupils who have behavioural difficulties, SEMH difficulties and Autism. Many of the pupils in School have Special educational needs also. The School is smaller than average and currently has under 100 pupils on roll. The School caters for pupils with SEMH difficulties and pupils who display challenging behaviours.

The candidate will be expected to deliver sports coaching to pupils who can be very difficult in their behaviours and the candidate must be able to deliver a range of sports and plan their own lessons.

The role will start on an ad-hoc basis but is likely to become a long term, if not permanent position.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

* negotiable pay rates £50.44-55 per day

* rewarding position delivering sports to pupils who have behavioural difficulties

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
