Sports Coach / P.E. Teacher - Hexham

Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a Sports Specialist for a School in the Northumberland to cover an ongoing sickness. The role is temporary until July 2019 at the moment however, does have the possibility of being extended. The key responsibilities of a successful candidate will be to cover Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The School is an 11 to 18 secondary school with approximately 1000 students and is based in Hexham. The school has a thriving community of students, parents, staff and governors who work together to provide an engaging learning environment which encourages students to reach their full potential.

The most recent OFSTED inspection judged the overall effectiveness of the school as good. The School requires for April 2019 a good to outstanding P.E. specialist to join their well established, supportive and innovative team. They are looking for someone who can motivate students and enhance pupil's development in the subject in order to attain their highest potential. They are looking to appoint someone with experience in Sports Coaching or an equivalent and there is a possibility of a long-term appointment as an unqualified P.E. Teacher for the right candidate.

You will have the opportunity to be paid between £55 - £80 per day and gain valuable experience within a supportive and rewarding school environment until the Summer Holidays.
