Support children in a secondary school in Caerphilly

Teaching personnel are working with one of our best secondary schools in the Caerphilly Borough to recruit a Teaching Assistant. The school have identified several children who require assistance with their learning and behaviour. Sports coaches possess many skills and attributes that the school desire. In previous years we have placed sports coaches as teaching assistants and hey have excelled due to their interpersonal skills, experience with managing groups of people and due to the fact, a lot of children have a keen interest in sport.

• GBP10.20 per hour
• Full time or Part time positions available

The ideal candidate that we are looking for will have experience with secondary aged children in any capacity (personal, voluntary, or professional). They will have a good understanding of PE or sporting activities. No teaching qualifications are necessary, we are looking for candidates who are flexible, calm natured and proactive approach.

The school is a mixed secondary school which has a high emphasis on sport. You will be joining a large support team that excel in driving pupils learning and development. A lot of students lose interest in education but love sport. We are looking for candidates who can close that gap and help students focus on their education as well as thriving in sport. This is the perfect opportunity if you are looking for you first step into education before considering a potential career as a teacher!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
