Speech and Language Teaching Assistant- Oldham (OL9) -September
Have you got experience supporting children that struggle with early communication?
Can you utilise your skills in a large Oldham (Ol9) School?
Are you looking for a new challenge that will broaden your horizons?
Due to a large in take of children in the early years unit, a two form entry Primary school in Oldham (Ol9) is looking to employ a Learning support assistant who has experience of working with children that have limited communication and language skills.
The school has a large percentage of children on the SEN register and the children start school below national average in terms of their learning development. Therefore the school requires a member of staff to work along the Literacy co-ordinator and SENCO to help implement strategies to raise attainment for children in EYFS and KS1 with language difficulties.
The school is part of an academy trust and have recently obtained good with out standing features from OFSTED. The school prides itself on the fantastic reputation it has built for the work it does with the community. To apply for this role you must have experience working with children with specific language needs and have relevant qualifications for teaching and supporting children.
