Speech and Language Teaching Assistant

Teaching assistant experienced in Speech and Language intervention required

Daily rate- £60-£70

This modern Primary school is highly rated in the local and surrounding areas and has fantastic support networks inside and outside the community. Regular events are held on sight and has been graded as an "Outstanding" school, this is due to a strong leadership team with a number of year's experience and a brilliant delivery of the national curriculum.

The school requires a resilient and dedicated person to drive confidence and progress with statemented pupils in order to improve confidence in communication. You will have a knowledge and understanding of creating education plans ensuring that progress in made with pupils.

There will be opportunities to support a number of children who have speech impairments. The school is looking for a candidate that will have a positive impact on the childrens lives and development also. You will be strongly supported by the schools head SENCO coordinator, who has gained various amounts of experience with speech and language pupils.

It is essential that you have previous experience working with children who have speech, language and communication difficulties. It is desirable that candidates have some experience of SLICE, Early Talk/Talk Boost Talking Tables and SPIRALS but training in these areas will be offered to the successful candidate.
