Specialist Teaching Assistant

There is an Alternative Provision in Hove who are looking for new Teaching Assistants to support their young people, aged 7 to 16 years olds.

The Alternative Provision have hubs across the West Sussex area and are looking for Teaching Assistants to work across variety of locations.

In this role you will be expected to:

• Have your own Car with Business Insurance
• Transport Students to and from their sessions
• Use resources to adapt and create lesson activities/plans
• Support two students per day
• Have three years experience supporting students who present with SEMH, MLD, Anxiety, disengagement and challenging behaviour

Extra information:

• Work 9am to 3pm each day
• Paid between GBP60 to GBP70 a day
• Have a direct line manager at the Alternative Provision
• Full-Time and Part-Time positions are also on offer

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
