Teaching Personnel is working with a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school based in Coventry, which caters for pupils on the Autistic (ASC) spectrum. The school is a secondary special school for students with complex social and communication difficulties. Many of the students have a diagnosis of autism and their academic abilities span the full National Curriculum and GCSE range. The pupils are aged between 11-18. The school is rated 'GOOD' by Ofsted.
The school are looking for core subject teachers, to work both on a temporary basis and a day to day basis at the school throughout the year - with a possibility of a permanent role if both parties are happy.
Essentials
- MUST have QTS in a specialist subject
- MUST have experience teaching and following the National Curriculum within a Secondary or SEN setting
- MUST have a clean DBS
Desirable
- Experience working with SEN in some capacity is desirable but not essential
- Any CPD certificates such as Autism Awareness or Team-Teach
