Teaching Assistant Level 1.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and caring Teaching Assistant to support a child with additional needs in our Nursery. The role is for 14 hours per week to work Wednesday 12.30-3.30 and Thursday and Friday 9.00 - 3.00pm which will include half hour unpaid lunchbreak on Thursday and Friday. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wishes to work part time. It would suit either someone with experience or someone who is eager to gain experience to develop as a teaching assistant.
The Primary school is located in LS8 and is accessble via public transport.
Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as; Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.
These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education. In addition to this we work alongside many leaders of education and have our own ex-head teacher that provides candidates with bespoke, high-quality training. The CPD on offer will assist with your personal and career development, making you the most highly sought candidates in the market.
