About the School:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with classroom activities and individualised learning plans

  • Support emotional regulation and promote positive behaviour

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff

  • Help implement a nurturing and structured routine throughout the school day

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children or young people with ALN (in education, care or support roles)

  • Calm, patient, and adaptable approach to working with diverse needs

  • Passion for inclusive education and making a difference in young people’s lives

  • Confidence in supporting communication needs (e.g. Makaton, PECS) is beneficial

  • Willingness to assist with personal care if required

What’s on Offer:

  • A rewarding role within a supportive, child-centred school

  • Small class sizes and excellent staff-to-pupil ratios

  • Ongoing professional development and SEN training

  • Potential for long-term or permanent placement for the right candidate
