Job description

Position: SEN Teacher

Location: Ashford, Kent 

Salary: £120 -£150 a day 

Hours: 8:30-15:30 Monday-Friday

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teachers to join our school in the heart of Ashford.

Whether you are seeking day-to-day supply, short or long term work, we have roles to suit around you.

 

Role and Responsibilities: 

  • Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitoring and recording students' progress and contributing to progress reviews.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Educate children using a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning preferences.
  • Manage classroom behaviour through effective strategies and techniques, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students.
  • Build trusting, positive relationships with pupils and families.

 

About You: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or experience with SEN education
  • A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to working with students.
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.
  • An excellent communicator and team player.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
