SEN Teacher
Job description
Teaching Personnel have a great opportunity for an experienced SEN Teacher in the heart of Ashford, Kent.
Salary: £120 -£150 a day
Hours: 8:30-15:30 Monday-Friday
Role and Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
- Deliver engaging, personalised learning tailored to pupils with complex needs
- Educate children using a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning preferences.
- Manage classroom behaviour through effective strategies and techniques, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students.
- Create a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment
- Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists and families
- Promote communication, independence and emotional wellbeing
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.
- An excellent communicator and team player.
- A commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the school community.
- Be patient, resilient and flexible in your approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
