Special Educational Needs Primary Teacher Required in Cambridge
Temporary to Permanent Basis

We are looking for a Special Educational Needs Teacher for a local mixed abilities SEN school. The school provides education and support for pupils aged 2-19 with mild learning difficulties (MLD) and severe learning difficulties (SLD). The school in cooperates a creative curriculum which incudes sensory learning and vocational subjects. Placements and trips take place and have included visits to the seaside and local stables.
About the Role
- SEN Primary Teacher
- Planning and Teaching tailored lessons to Primary students
- Writing and Presenting education plans when needed
- Up to date with curriculum development in Primary phase education

- Large SEN provision
- Pupils aged 2-19
- Small class sizes which include support from specialist teaching assistants
- Creative curriculum
- Purpose built facilities
Key Skills
- Successful class room teaching experience
- Have previous experience working with pupils with PMLD, MLD or PD
- Up to date knowledge of the national curriculum related to Primary phase education
- Further training or experience teaching pupils with SEN
- Engage in further internal training when offered
- A passion to work in special educational needs
