Special Educational Needs Primary Teacher Required in Cambridge

Temporary to Permanent Basis

Excellent Pay

Supportive School

We are looking for a Special Educational Needs Teacher for a local mixed abilities SEN school. The school provides education and support for pupils aged 2-19 with mild learning difficulties (MLD) and severe learning difficulties (SLD). The school in cooperates a creative curriculum which incudes sensory learning and vocational subjects. Placements and trips take place and have included visits to the seaside and local stables.

About the Role

  • SEN Primary Teacher
  • Planning and Teaching tailored lessons to Primary students
  • Writing and Presenting education plans when needed
  • Up to date with curriculum development in Primary phase education

  • Large SEN provision
  • Pupils aged 2-19
  • Small class sizes which include support from specialist teaching assistants
  • Creative curriculum
  • Purpose built facilities

Key Skills

  • Successful class room teaching experience
  • Have previous experience working with pupils with PMLD, MLD or PD
  • Up to date knowledge of the national curriculum related to Primary phase education
  • Further training or experience teaching pupils with SEN
  • Engage in further internal training when offered
  • A passion to work in special educational needs
